Can I buy Bengali novels and story books online from anywhere in India?
ভারতের যে কোনও জায়গা থেকে কি অনলাইনে বাংলা উপন্যাস আর গল্পের বই কেনা যায়?
Yes. We deliver across India. You browse the catalogue, add books to your cart, and we sort out the rest with you on WhatsApp. The books come from the stalls of College Street in Kolkata.

Do you deliver outside Kolkata?

We do, all over the country. How long it takes depends on where you are, so message us on WhatsApp and we'll tell you the timing for your address before you confirm.

How do I place an order and pay?
কীভাবে অর্ডার দেব আর পেমেন্ট করব?
Add books to your cart and check out. That sends us your order. We confirm stock and the final price on WhatsApp, where the payment details are arranged too. You pay 50% in advance and 50% on delivery. Minimum order is ₹500. There is no online payment on the site.
কার্টে বই রেখে চেকআউট করুন। অর্ডার আমাদের কাছে চলে আসবে। স্টক আর দাম WhatsApp-এ জানিয়ে দিই, পেমেন্টের কথাও সেখানেই হয়। ৫০% আগে, বাকি ৫০% বই হাতে পেলে। ন্যূনতম অর্ডার ₹৫০০। সাইটে অনলাইন পেমেন্ট নেই।
Are the books original editions?
বইগুলো কি আসল সংস্করণ?
Yes. We pick them up directly from the publishers and sellers at College Street, so what reaches you is the genuine edition, not a copy.

Do you sell rare or old Bengali books?
দুষ্প্রাপ্য বা পুরনো বাংলা বই কি পাওয়া যায়?
We keep a limited stock, but old and out-of-print titles work on request. Send us the title, author, publisher, and roughly which year, and we try our best to track it down. Start at /request-a-book.

How do I request a specific rare or out-of-print book?
কোনও দুষ্প্রাপ্য বা আউট-অফ-প্রিন্ট বই কীভাবে চাইব?
Use /request-a-book or just WhatsApp us. Give the title, author, publisher, and approximate year. We look on our next College Street trip and reply with whatever we find.

Happy to. Tell us what you've liked before on WhatsApp and we'll suggest a few titles. Our blog also has reading lists and notes if you'd rather browse on your own.

Do you offer discounts or any delivery deal?

Pricing and any delivery arrangement are confirmed on WhatsApp with each order. If something is running, we'll tell you there. Just ask when you message us.
দাম আর ডেলিভারির হিসেব প্রতিটি অর্ডারে WhatsApp-এ ঠিক করি। কিছু চললে সেখানেই বলে দিই। মেসেজ করার সময় জিজ্ঞেস করে নিন।
Do you ship internationally or to the diaspora?

We look at these one by one. Message us on WhatsApp with where you are and what you want, and we'll tell you honestly whether we can send it and what it takes.
এগুলো আমরা আলাদা করে দেখি। কোথায় আছেন আর কী চান WhatsApp-এ লিখুন, পাঠাতে পারব কি না আর কী লাগবে সোজাসুজি জানিয়ে দেব।
What if a book arrives wrong or damaged?
ভুল বা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত বই এলে কী হবে?
Tell us straight away on WhatsApp. We don't take returns once an order is confirmed, but if the wrong book turns up or it reaches you damaged, we'll put it right.
সঙ্গে সঙ্গে WhatsApp-এ জানান। অর্ডার কনফার্ম হওয়ার পর সাধারণত ফেরত নিই না, তবে ভুল বই এলে বা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়ে পৌঁছলে আমরা ঠিক করে দেব।
